David Dae-won Jung practises in the areas of Corporate and Commercial transactions, Real Estate transactions, and Civil Litigation.

He is a firm believer of result based approach in all types of businesses and provides personalized solutions to small to medium sized corporations. He also acts as a general counsel for international corporations setting their grounds in Canada.

David has Bachelor of Physiology from McGill University (2008) with a minor in East Asian studies and graduated from University of New Brunswick law school. Then he articled with a large regional firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After spending 10 years in the east coast of Canada studying, David returned to Calgary to be with his family.

David currently serves as a legal counsel for a federal non-profit organization K-LINC, multi national Korean corporations, and president of Calgary Chapter for Overseas Korean Trade Association (world-OKTA). David also sat on a board of National Unification Advisory Council (Korea) reporting directly to the President of South Korea.

Since 2020, David acted as a designated external counsel for Consulate General of South Korea in Vancouver, advising the Consulate General directly with respect to foreign and inter-jurisdictional matters.

Mr. Aujla is one of the founders and is a senior partner of Reliance Legal Group LLP. Mr. Aujla has been practicing law for over 17 years in Calgary Alberta and has wealth of experience and knowledge of general practice of law.

Anne McVea practises in the areas of Family Law and Wills and Estates.  Anne has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta including appellate.  Anne is experienced in all areas of matrimonial law including divorce, custody, support, guardianship, matrimonial property, cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements, emergency protection orders and restraining orders, and matters related to child apprehensions. 

Anne believes that the clear communication and understanding of legal rights and obligations will result in positive outcomes and will often apply creative solutions to achieve goals.   Anne strongly supports  mediation and open communication and providing a legal structure to guide clients to resolution but, when necessary, Anne will advance matters into court to achieve desired results.

In addition to her LLB from the University of Calgary, Anne has master’s degrees from the University of Western Ontario, and the University of Alberta.

Felipe Paredes-Canevari, Lawyer

Before completing a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2012, Felipe received an Honours Bachelor’s Degree, magna cum laude, in Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance Studies at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008. Subsequently, in 2009, Felipe earned a Master’s Degree in Medieval history and literature at the University of Toronto.

After completing law school Felipe articled at an international law firm in Calgary and has since practiced primarily in the areas of commercial and construction litigation, criminal defence, and private international law.  Felipe was called to the bar of Alberta in 2013 and since then has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta. 

When he is not practicing law, he is busy performing, recording, and travelling as a musician.  He has released two albums of traditional South American music which are available on iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube, amongst other platforms.

Felipe regularly volunteers with Calgary Public Schools showcasing Hispanic music for elementary students. He is also a director of the Calgary Peruvian Community Association, and a member of the Canadian Association of Hispanists with whom he has presented several academic papers.  Felipe holds a junior fellowship in Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance Studies at the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, Felipe volunteers in the mentorship program of the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council.

Gurteg Singh Gill was born in Edmonton and was raised in Calgary. He completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science with Minor in Philosophy at the University of Calgary. After doing so, he decided to go abroad to continue his studies.  Gurteg earned his LLB in Law in 2016 from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He also received his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Gurteg was called to the Bar of Alberta in 2019 however he has already gained a wealth of experience within the practice of law by working and volunteering at many different law firms.

Currently Gurteg is serving his clients in residential and commercial real estate law as well as corporate law.  Gurteg is also working on building up an immigration practice. He has background and experience in Family law matters , Personal Injury and Criminal cases.

He is a strong proponent of establishing an ethical, client focused practice and he believes that clear communication and transparency with the client is essential to achieve this.
